Chair of Governors

I have been the Chair of Governors since 2019. I wanted to bring my experience as a secondary school Headteacher to a school where I can assist staff to support pupils and families. At home I enjoy family time and playing in a Ceilidh band.

When my son started at Clifton Green in 2015, I knew this was a great school and I wanted to get involved where I could so I became a governor. I work as an IT projects manager for the NHS and I bring these skills with me to help the school.

I joined Clifton Green a few years ago when my daughter started in Reception. I became a governor because I wanted to support school in its' educational achievements and community involvement. I enjoy days out with my family, gardening and reading.

I have two children that attend school and I saw all the great and amazing things the school does for the pupils and the community, so I became a governor. I Like to relax at home with yoga and enjoy walks in the great outdoors.

I became a governor because I was really impressed by the ethos of the school. I have over 16 years of teaching experience which I use to support the school in lots of different ways. I also volunteer locally on History projects in York.

I have been a governor for a number of years and took on the role because I saw the great work that the school does and the work it does in the community. At home I like spending time with my family, singing in choirs, playing music and reading.

I have been a governor for a few years and I have focused my support on Early Years as these foundations of learning are something I am extremely passionate about and hold experience in. At home I enjoy crocheting.

I became a governor a number of years ago as I wanted to support our local community, utilising my experience in education and business. I enjoy supporting Maths and the Inclusion team in school. Reading, swimming and art are my favourite hobbies.

I really enjoy working at Clifton Green, I get to work with amazing staff who are very supportive of each other and the pupils. In the Holidays I like to travel and explore as many different countries as I can.
