At Clifton Green Primary School, we believe that learning beyond the classroom is essential in developing confident, knowledgeable and aspirational learners. As part of our Capital Culture Curriculum, Year 5 pupils take part in a wide range of enriching experiences designed to broaden horizons, develop independence and prepare children for the future.
Through our carefully planned programme of visits, workshops and real-life experiences, children are encouraged to explore culture, democracy, careers, the arts and life skills within York and beyond. These opportunities form an important part of our Experience It! curriculum, helping pupils develop resilience, curiosity and ambition.
