Will you be our new Higher Level Teaching Assistant?
A message from our children;
‘We go to Clifton Green Primary School and we’re looking for a new HLTA to teach our classes.
We would like you to be someone who knows our names, someone who asks us how we are, and listens to our answers.
We’re all different and might learn differently from one another, we might communicate differently or come from a different family, culture or background. Some of us might need extra help with some things like our learning.
We don’t all need the same thing to succeed – but we all need someone who believes we can.
We want you to believe that every single one of us belongs at Clifton Green and that we should all have the chance to join in, learn and succeed.
Sometimes you might teach our whole class when our teacher isn’t there. Sometimes you might work with a small group of us. And sometimes you might just work with one of us.
So, if you’re kind, patient, inclusive, enthusiastic and brilliant at helping us learn please come and join us at Clifton Green Primary School. If you like sports, activities and playing that would be amazing!
Don’t forget that you’ll need to bring your sense of humour to school every day!’
This is a fixed term role for the duration of the 2026-27 academic year. The role may suit a qualified teacher who is looking for extra experience.
The salary is £32,536 per annum, working 37 hours per week during term time plus 5 training days.
