Clifton Green Primary School is seeking to appoint a skilled, caring and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a child with complex needs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant who can provide high-quality support for a child with complex needs. The successful candidate will bring patience, positivity and a nurturing approach to their work and will be committed to helping children thrive both academically and emotionally.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Be caring, patient and resilient in their approach to supporting children
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification, or be working towards completing it by September 2026
  • Be skilled in promoting children’s speech, language and communication
  • Work effectively as part of a dedicated and supportive team
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Job Details

Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)

Salary Grade: Grade 6, Level 1–4

Salary: £15,578 per annum

Hours: 19 hours per week over three days

Contract: Fixed-Term Contract

Working Pattern: Term time only, plus one week for training days (39 weeks per year)

Start Date: September 2026

Do you have experience of working within the Early Years Foundation Stage? Are you passionate about helping young children develop, learn and thrive? Do you believe every child deserves the very best start to their education?

If so, you may be the person we are looking for.

We are seeking an enthusiastic practitioner who understands the importance of providing children with a strong foundation for future learning. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting young children’s development through high-quality interactions, engaging learning experiences and nurturing relationships.

Our current EYFS priority is to further develop children’s speech and language skills. We are looking for someone who can confidently support this area through purposeful conversations, language-rich environments and effective adult-child interactions.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Have experience of working within an EYFS setting
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of child development and the EYFS Framework
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification, or be working towards completing it by September 2026
  • Be skilled in promoting children’s speech, language and communication
  • Deliver high-quality interactions that extend children’s thinking and learning
  • Support children to become confident, independent and enthusiastic learners
  • Work effectively as part of a dedicated and supportive team

Clifton Green Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and reliable Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our hardworking lunchtime team.

Who Are We Looking For?

Do you enjoy working with children? Are you patient, caring and able to work as part of a team? Do you have a positive and calm approach and enjoy helping children have a safe and happy lunchtime experience?

If so, you may be the person we are looking for.

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and kind individual who will be responsible for supervising children in the dining hall and on the playground during the lunchtime period. You will work as part of a dedicated team to ensure the welfare, safety and good conduct of all pupils throughout lunchtime.

The successful candidate will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and their families and will play an important role in supporting our positive school environment.
