School Chef

 

Salary: Grade 6, level 1-4

Salary per annum: full time £27,514, actual salary starting on £24,233

Hours: 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Contract: permanent, subject to the successful completion of a 6 month probation period. Working during term time only plus 10 working days (40 weeks per year).

 Start date: October/November 2025

Clifton Green Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Chef with proven chef and kitchen management skills to lead our kitchen team into an exciting period of development. We are currently having our kitchen refurbished, with a completion date of December. Until this date, our Chef will run operations from a temporary kitchen in school.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual who has experience of working in a busy school kitchen where working to a deadline is key. You will have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude with a good work ethic.

You will be responsible for maintaining our five star food hygiene rating, operating within school food standards, ordering food and minimising waste.

Teaching Assistant

Salary: Grade 4, level 1 – 4, full time salary range £24, 335 – £25, 503 per annum, pro-rata starting at approximately £18,621 per annum

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm during term time only plus training days (39 weeks per year)

Contract type: fixed until 31st August 2026

Start date: October/November 2025

We have an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Clifton Green Primary School.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working in conjunction with the Class Teacher to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Hours: 37 hours per week. Working Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.00pm, Friday 8am-3.30pm during term time only plus 5 training days (39 weeks per year)

Contract: permanent, subject to the successful completion of a 6 month probation period

Start date: November/December 2025

Clifton Green Primary School are looking for an administrator who has a positive, ‘can do’ attitude to work as part of our office team to deliver a high standard of service to support teaching and learning.

This is a key role for us and is at the heart of our school. You will be the face of Clifton Green Primary School and will work on the reception desk to greet children and their families. You will answer the telephone, respond to emails and resolve any problems that may arise. You will work with our pastoral lead each day on pupil attendance, updating records and contacting families of absent children. You will also be responsible for supporting teachers with school trips, producing letters and chasing up payments.

You will work in a small team to ensure that communications are sent out to parents, pupil records are kept up to date, registers are completed and lunch numbers are collated and confirmed. You will also support our Senior Leaders with administrative tasks such as organising school photographs.
