Teaching Assistants

Salary: Grade 4, level 1 – 4, full time salary range £24, 335 – £25, 503 per annum, pro-rata starting at £18,621 per annum

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm during term time only plus training days (39 weeks)

Contract type: fixed until 31st August 2026

Start date: September 2025

We have an exciting opportunity for Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our team at Clifton Green Primary School.

The successful candidates will be responsible for working in conjunction with the Class Teacher to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Our Teaching Assistants play a fundamental role in supporting our pupils, promoting inclusion in learning and maintaining daily classroom routines. You will support our pupils in developing positive attitudes to learning and with the development of the skills and knowledge they need to be safe, successful and healthy.

• experience of working with young children
• knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
• the ability to work as part of a team to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
