In Year 2, children enjoy their very first sleepover at school. This special evening is designed to help them feel comfortable staying away from home in a familiar and safe environment. Year 3 pupils take part in a magical sleepover at St Peter’s, where they spend the night under the stars. This exciting experience brings a sense of adventure as children enjoy outdoor activities and time with their classmates in a new setting. It helps develop confidence and teamwork while making the idea of staying away from home feel exciting and enjoyable.
In Year 4, children travel to Boggle Hall for an overnight stay packed with fun and exploration. During their visit, pupils take part in a range of engaging activities, from outdoor challenges to team-building games. The experience encourages independence, curiosity, and resilience, all while having a fantastic time with friends.
Year 5 pupils embark on an exciting overnight trip to London. During this visit, they experience the magic of live theatre by watching a musical, explore British history with a visit to the Houses of Parliament, and discover the wonders of science at the Natural History Museum, including a hands-on workshop. This trip broadens their cultural understanding and brings learning to life in a memorable way.
In Year 6, pupils take part in a five-day residential with PGL. This is the highlight of their primary school journey. Children challenge themselves with a wide range of adventurous activities such as climbing, aqua park, abseiling, and archery. The residential builds confidence, resilience, teamwork, and independence, preparing them for the next stage of their education.
