Clifton Green Primary School at Young Voices

Every year, children from Clifton Green Primary School take part in the incredible Young Voices concert at the Utilita Arena Sheffield. This exciting event gives our pupils the opportunity to perform as part of one of the largest school choirs in the world.

What is Young Voices?

Young Voices is a nationwide music event that brings thousands of primary school children together to sing in a spectacular live concert. Performing in such a huge arena, alongside professional musicians and special guest artists, is an unforgettable experience for our children.

Who Takes Part?

Our Young Voices choir is open to children in Years 3 to 6. Rehearsals take place every Monday, where pupils learn a wide range of songs, practise harmonies, and build their confidence as performers.

Why We Love It

The children absolutely love being part of Young Voices. From learning the songs together during rehearsals to stepping out onto the big stage in Sheffield, the journey is full of excitement, teamwork, and pride.

The concert itself is always a highlight of the school year. Seeing the arena filled with thousands of young singers, lights shining, and families cheering creates a truly magical atmosphere. Our pupils return feeling inspired, confident, and proud of their achievement.

A Special Experience Every Year

Taking part in Young Voices each year helps our children:

  • Develop their singing and musical skills

  • Build confidence performing in front of large audiences

  • Experience being part of a team

  • Create lasting memories with friends

We are incredibly proud of our choir and look forward to attending the Sheffield concert each year!
